TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR VISITORS, SPEAKERS, ATTENDEES, AND DELEGATES

These terms and conditions govern the participation in the Global Fintech Fest 2025 (hereinafter referred to as the “Event”), held from October 7, 2025 to October 9, 2025 at Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai (“Venue”), organized by Payments Council of India (PCI) and Fintech Convergence Council (FCC), under the aegis of the Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) (“Organizers” or “We” or “Our”).

These terms and conditions are applicable to every individual registering and/ or attending the Event. By registering and/ or attending the Event, every individual including visitors, speakers, delegates, partners, participants, attendees (“You”/ “Your”) agree to and shall be bound by:

(a) these terms and conditions;

(b) Our privacy policy;

(c) Our cookie policy;

(d) Our terms of use of our website [•] and [•] mobile application; and

(e) any other terms and conditions which may be published at the Event;

These T&Cs may be updated by the Organizers at their sole discretion from time to time and You shall be deemed to have read, understood and accepted such updated T&Cs. As such, You are requested to check our website on a regular basis to view the most updated version of these T&Cs.

1. Authorization to register and attend the Event

  1. You must be at least 18 (eighteen) years old to register for and attend the Event. In case, any individual who has not attained the age of majority (“Minor”) intends to register for, attend and participate in the Event, then such a Minor may register, attend, and participate in the Event with the prior authorisation and under the supervision of the Minor’s parent or legal guardian. The Minor shall be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times at the Event. It shall be the parent or legal guardian’s sole responsibility to determine the suitability of the Event for the Minor and to ensure compliance with these T&Cs by such Minor. The Organizers hereby clarify that certain sessions at the Event may be limited for attendance of adults only due to security reasons and in such cases the Minor will not be allowed to attend/ participate in such sessions at the Event.
  2. If You are registering on behalf of a body corporate or another individual, then (i) You represent and warrant that You are the authorised representative of such body corporate or individual (as the case may be) and You agree to these T&Cs on behalf of such body corporate or individual; and (ii) You and such body corporate or individual (as the case may be) shall be jointly and severally responsible for Your or such individual’s conduct (as the case may be) at the Event.

2. Registration and access to the Event

  1. Validly registering for an Event will make You eligible to attend the Event, subject to these T&Cs. Please note that admission is at the discretion of the Organizers, even for valid pass holders.
  2. All registrations are subject to availability and the Organizers’ approval.
  3. You are not allowed to re-sell the purchased passes (whether free or otherwise, in any form or manner, or whether as a package with other products or services). The passes purchased by You are valid for Your personal use only and cannot be transferred to any other person. The passes should not be purchased from any unauthorised third parties/ ticketing agents but only directly through Our website. The Organizers shall not be under an obligation to issue any new passes to You, in case your Event pass is lost, stolen or mutilated.
  4. Passes shall not be used for any advertising, marketing, promotional or other commercial purposes by You.
  5. You represent and warrant that information provided by You at the time of registration is true, correct, accurate and complete. In the event of any change in the details provided by You at time of registration, please inform us by sending an email at [•].
  6. Along with your Event pass, You are required to always carry with You your government issued and valid identity card as a proof of your identity and the Organizers shall at anytime before, during or after the Event have the authority to check your identity card and Your Event pass. The Organizers reserve the right to refuse entry to or may require You to leave the Event, if You fail to produce Your pass and/ or identity card upon demand by the Organizers.
  7. In addition to the above, the Organizers may refuse entry to or require You to leave the Event, if at anytime, the Organizers have a reason to believe that You have:
    1. breached any provision of the T&Cs;
    2. committed a criminal offence;
    3. behaved in a disorderly manner or in a way that has an adverse effect on public safety;
    4. behaved in any manner that causes a public nuisance;
    5. dressed inappropriately as determined by the Organizers;
    6. if You defame or have the potential to defame the Event or the Organizers; or
    7. if You do any of the ‘Prohibited Activities’ at the Event.
  8. The Organizers reserve the right to refuse and / or remove any person at their sole discretion into or from the Venue of the Event for any reason without any notification or explanation and You will not have any right or authority to dispute the same.
  9. The Event pass provided to You cannot be upgraded or cancelled.

3. Fees and payments

  1. Your registration/ admission to the Event is subject to receipt of full payment of the applicable [fees prior to commencement of the Event.] If such Fee payment is insufficient or declined for any reason, You will not be permitted to attend the Event and Your registration shall stand cancelled automatically.
  2. Fee schedule rates are valid at the time of completion of registration provided they are paid in full before the applicable expiration date. You are required to check the fee You are paying at the time of registration for the Event.
  3. You are responsible for your own taxes and all applicable bank charges. If the Organizers are required to deduct or withhold any taxes under any applicable laws, You agree to pay such additional amounts such that the Organizers receive all applicable fees in full after such deduction or withholding.
  4. All Fees paid are non-refundable. There shall not be any refund of fees paid for any reason due to:
  5. You are solely responsible for the payment of any costs and expenses incurred in connection with or incidental to Your attendance and/ or participation in the Event including but not limited to visa, travel, and accommodation. In case, You are travelling from a country outside India to attend the Event, please ensure that all your visa related requirements are in place to ensure Your attendance and participation at the Event. The Organizers are not obliged to provide any advice or assistance relating to the obtaining of visas. The Organizers shall not be required to refund any fees to You, upon Your failure to obtain visa.
  6. You shall ensure that You have adequate insurance for Your own requirements, including travel insurance and personal accident insurance prior to attending the Event.
  7. We reserve the right to amend, cancel, withdraw, or reduce any promotion and/ or discount to any applicable fees offered at any time relating to the Event without prior notice.

4. Cancellation of / Changes to the Event

  1. In case, We are required to cancel the Event for any reasons (other than those provided under paragraph 4.2(a)), We shall, without incurring any other liability, as soon as reasonably practicable notify You about such cancellation and either refund partial fees paid by You or offer credits for attending another event, at Our sole discretion.
  2. We may for any reason, at Our sole discretion and without incurring any liability whatsoever towards any person:
    1. cancel the whole or part of the Event due to Force Majeure;
    2. change the dates, time, period and/ or Venue of the Event;
    3. make alterations to the contents, formats, features and/ or programmes at the Event (including converting the mode of the Event or session at the Event from an in-person event to a virtual event).
  3. In case, the Event is cancelled due to the reason mentioned in paragraph 4.2 (a) above, You shall not be entitled to receive any refund of the fee paid by You. If the Event stands rescheduled due to the reasons mentioned in paragraph 4.2 (b) above, then You shall be entitled to attend the rescheduled event, however You shall not be entitled to receive any refund of the fees paid by You. In case, the Event is altered as mentioned in paragraph 4.2(c) above, then You shall not be entitled to receive any refund of the fees paid by You.

5. Force Majeure

  1. A ‘Force Majeure Event’ refers to any event or series of connected events beyond the Organizers reasonable control, including without limitation, fire, storm, war, riots, civil commotion, military operations, acts or threats of terrorism, strike action, lock-outs or other industrial action (whether involving Our workforce or any other party’s workforce on whom we are dependent), flood, epidemic, pandemic or other widespread illness, power failure, communications line interruption, technical and computer-related faults and breakdowns, server outage, website vandalism, computer virus invasion or attack, hacker attack, temporary or permanent website closure or shutdown (caused by governmental control or otherwise), earthquake, explosion or accident, embargo, default of suppliers or sub-contractors to the Event, governmental order, decree, restraints or regulation, absence of premises required for the Event and the foregoing scenarios shall include any threat thereof.
  2. If the performance of the Organizers obligation(s) hereunder is suspended or prevented for reasons of a Force Majeure Event, the Organizers shall not be held liable for such non-performance of or delay in performance of their obligations in respect of any period during which the performance is suspended or prevented. You shall not make any claim or demand against the Organizers for any matter or thing whatsoever arising out of such period when the Organizers are suspended or prevented from performing obligations hereunder due to a Force Majeure Event. Any loss, damage, delay, or failure of performance by the Organizers due to occurrence of a Force Majeure Event shall not constitute any default under these T&Cs and shall not be considered as a ground for raising any claims against the Organizers.
  3. Upon occurrence of a Force Majeure Event, the Organizers shall, at their sole and absolute discretion, be entitled, without any liability, to amend the mode of the Event, cancel, postpone, suspend and/or withdraw the Event, immediately by giving notice in writing to You.

6. Event participation

  1. At all times in connection with the Event, You should wear proper attire and Your official GFF badge provided to You.
  2. You shall not organize, facilitate, or participate in any commercial, promotional or trading activities including organizing parallel events, undertaking unauthorized distribution of materials or engaging in solicitation activities at the Event Venue or near the Event Venue, without the Organizers’ prior written consent. Organizers will be entitled to charge a fee for any such commercial, promotional or trading activities which You undertake at the Event Venue or near the Event Venue.
  3. YOUR PROPERTY:
    1. Please note that all Your bags and personal belongings may be subject to screening and security checks and You agree to co-operate for the same. The Organizers reserve the right to prohibit any personal belongings from being carried into the Venue.
    2. Your personal belongings are Your own responsibility and the Organizers shall not be held responsible or liable for any loss of or damage to Your personal belongings including personal belongings may be kept at authorised baggage counters at the Event. All personal property brought to the Event shall be at Your own risk and You will be responsible for safeguarding such property at all times.
    3. No personal property shall be left unattended while in or around the Venue. The Organizers will handle the unattended property in a manner as may be deemed fit by the Organizers. Any personal property which is left within the Venue upon the conclusion of the Event shall be considered abandoned and will be handled by the Organizers accordingly.
    4. You may use the car parking facility available at the Venue of the Event at Your own risk. However, it is clarified that the Organizers shall not be held liable in any manner for any loss or damage arising out of Your use of such car parking facility. Please note the car parking facility is available on first cum first serve basis and the Organizers do not promise to provide You with a car parking spot. You are accordingly required to ensure that You make the necessary arrangements at Your end.
  4. OUR PROPERTY:
    1. You shall not undertake any activities which will result in any kind of damage to the Venue or any property at the Venue including the exhibition booths, equipments, furnishings, signage, and any facilities provided.
    2. You are required to strictly adhere to any additional rules and/ or restrictions which may be imposed at anytime at the Event Venue by the Venue provider.
    3. You must not carry out any of the following activities, in relation to the Venue and Our Sites (“Prohibited Activities”):
      1. alter or make additions/installations thereto (including any telecommunication equipment, wires, fixtures, fittings, and decorations);
      2. vandalise any property belonging to any person at the Venue;
      3. misappropriate or remove any property from the Venue;
      4. indulge in theft of any property at the Venue;
      5. bring in and/or store any dangerous, hazardous, or unlawful goods;
      6. obstruct light, ventilation, passageways, and/or common areas;
      7. smoke outside designated smoking areas, create a fire hazard or tamper with firefighting installations;
      8. bring in heavy machineries or carry heavy articles on the elevators and escalators;
      9. display any signboard or nameplate;
      10. do any act which You know or ought to know, may:
        1. affect the Venue;
        2. affect our insurance policies;
        3. be a safety hazard;
      11. do any such act which shall be a public nuisance or annoyance;
      12. bring in animals or pets;
      13. litter, damage, or pollute the surrounding environment; and in relation to our Sites:
      14. archive, reproduce, distribute, modify, display, perform, publish, license, offer for sale, or use content, data, information, or material contained on or obtained from Our Sites;
      15. create enable, distribute, publish, or transmit anything designed to disrupt, interfere, interrupt, or limit the functionality of Our Sites, including any viruses, worms, malware, spyware, trojan horses or any other computer codes, files or programs;
      16. gain unauthorised access and/or use of our Sites or files on Our internal and external servers;
      17. decompile, reverse engineer, or disassemble Our Sites;
      18. post any content which is illegal, offensive, objectionable, obscene, defamatory;
      19. infringe any intellectual property of any person or entity using Our Sites; and
      20. use our Sites in any manner that could negatively affect or is prejudicial to our Sites.
    4. We reserve the right to take appropriate actions and recover from You any and all losses arising due to or in connection with your failure to comply with the terms of this paragraph 6.
  5. Please note that access to certain sessions, programmes, features (for instance, VVIP sessions, high-security or closed-door sessions) (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Limited Access Sessions”) may be limited for specific persons only and such Limited Access Sessions may require additional registration, approvals, and/or security clearances, as may be decided by the Organizers. Accordingly, You will be entitled to attend only those sessions for which You have been granted registration for. Subject to approval by the Organizers, in the event, You intend to register and attend such Limited Access Sessions, You may be required to provide relevant additional documentation. You shall abide by any additional or specific requirements which may be applicable in relation to the Limited Access Sessions.
  6. The Organizers shall not be held responsible for any ill-effects of any food items or drinks consumed by You at the Event.
  7. You shall ensure that you observe all the rules, policies and procedures of the Event including those relating to health, safety and security.

7. Speaker responsibilities

  1. Any person speaking at Our Event, whether in person or virtually including but not limited to via live stream webinar or video recording, whether an individual speaker or delegated by Your organisation, and whether voluntarily or paid, will be required to ensure adherence to these T&Cs.
  2. The speaker agrees to:
    1. perform his speaker obligations in a professional manner;
    2. comply with all applicable laws;
    3. co-operate with the Organizers and follow all guidelines and/ or directions in connection with the Event as may be notified to the speaker in writing from time to time.
  3. We will notify the speaker about the speaker’s speaking schedule as soon as possible. However, if there are any changes in the schedule, We will inform the same to the speaker as soon as possible. The speaker agrees to be available for any rehearsals, briefings, technical checks, and recordings as may be required by the Organizers to ensure smooth functioning of the Event.
  4. If the speaker is unavailable due to any Force Majeure Event or any sickness (e.g., bodily injury, infirmity or mental sickness), such speaker or his representative shall inform us immediately upon gaining knowledge of the same and discuss alternative arrangements. In such cases, the speaker shall use his best endeavours to find an alternate speaker (subject to the Organizers’ prior written acceptance). In the event, an alternate speaker is not available, the Organizers shall cancel the speaker’s session. If any advance sums have been paid to the speaker by the Organizers, such sums shall be refunded by the speaker or his representative within 2 (two) days of such cancellation.
  5. The Organizers reserve the right to postpone or cancel the speaker’s session for any reason, by providing a written notice to the speaker. In the event, the speaker’s session is cancelled by the Organizers, We will not be liable to pay any fees or any other compensation to the speaker due to such cancellation
  6. The Organizers reserve the right to withdraw the speaker privileges or session slots allocated for the speaker, if the speaker violates any of these T&Cs or fails to adhere to the agenda, timing, and decorum of the Event and in all such cases, the speaker shall not be entitled to any fees or compensation due to such cancellation.
  7. Content to be shared by the speaker at the Event:
    1. All speech and presentation materials including the text, hand-outs, power-point, verbal remarks, or other materials used or developed by speaker for delivery of the speech and / or presentation at the Event or for the webinar, as the case may be (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Speaker Content”) shall be in English language only and non-promotional in nature, unless otherwise permitted by the Organizers.
    2. The speaker hereby warrants that his Speaker Content (i) is written, developed, and prepared with the skill, care, and ability of someone of speaker’s calibre in speaker’s field of expertise; (ii) is of a high standard and reasonably suitable for the participants at the Event or the audience to whom it will be addressed; (iii) does not contain anything which is illegal, defamatory, indecent, or which infringes the intellectual property rights of any third parties; and (iv) does not contain anything which is religious or political or consist of any derogatory remarks or which will violate the anti-discrimination policy.

      In relation to the same, the speaker will be required to provide the draft of the Speaker Content to the Organizers for their review, within the timelines provided by the Organizers prior to the Event. Upon such review, the Organizers may request the speaker to make changes to the Speaker Content, including editing, adapting, and / or altering such Speaker Content in other ways so that the Speaker Content may be suitable for delivery at the Event or as a webinar as the case may be. The Organizers shall endeavour to provide speaker with sufficient notice and reasons for the requested changes; and shall take speaker’s views into account wherever possible.
    3. In connection with the foregoing, the speaker agrees to waive all their creator/control rights.
  8. Speakers are independent contractors. Nothing in the T&Cs shall be construed as an agency, joint venture, or partnership under law, or constitute any speaker and the Organizers as principal and agent, or each with authority to enter into any contract or otherwise incur liability or obligation, express or implied, on behalf of the other.
  9. The Speaker must not represent any of his views as being those of or shared by or endorsed by the Organizers. Further, the speaker must not represent, in any manner, to be our affiliate, agent, collaborator, employee, partner and/or representative.
  10. The speaker hereby acknowledges that sessions held during the Event may be photographed and recorded by the Organizers, and made publicly available. The speaker hereby grants to the Organizers the right to make recordings of and take photographs of the speaker’s presentation at the Event (along with the supporting information such as speaker’s name, voice and likeness) and to distribute, broadcast, display, translate and disseminate such presentation, in whole or in part, without any further approval of the speaker, throughout the world, in perpetuity. The Organizers may also use such presentation for educational and commercial purposes and for publicity and promotion of events.

8. Event Content

  1. The Event is owned and / or managed by the Organizers. Unless otherwise indicated, all rights including intellectual property rights in all recordings, presentations, materials (including images, videos, logos, advertisements, promotional copies, data, educational materials, trademarks, service marks, and other material displayed in connection with the Event), documentation (published or otherwise) made available as a part of the Event, Sites (“Event Content”) are exclusively owned by the Organizers (directly or through their affiliates) or are validly licensed to them, throughout the world and in perpetuity.
  2. You may only use the materials provided to You in connection with the Event for Your personal use and nothing contained herein shall be deemed to mean a grant of any intellectual property rights or any other rights to use the Event Content. Any use of the Event Content except as provided in this sub-paragraph is strictly prohibited.
  3. By registering for the Event, You hereby authorize, permit, and grant the Organizers, its agents, sub-licensees, designees, the royalty-free, absolute, and irrevocable license and right to (with respect to yourself):
    1. record, photograph, and/ or film the likeness, name, voice, appearance, and / or image while participating in the Event;
    2. edit such recording into a photo gallery, short film, webinar (which may include other recordings and materials);
    3. use Your name, voice, or other information concerning You in relation to the Event;
    4. publish, reproduce, distribute and / or otherwise use the likeness in all media formats (now know or hereafter existing) worldwide solely in connection with the publicity, promotion and distribution of the Event (including future editions thereof) and the Organizers’ general business.
  4. You agree and acknowledge that You have consented to be part of the recordings which shall be the sole and exclusive property of the Organizers. You further agree that the Organizers

    shall under no circumstances, whatsoever, be held liable for any infringement or violation of personal and/or property rights, whatsoever, based on the use of such recording by the Organizers or its affiliates.
  5. You acknowledge that all media rights to the Event are explicitly owned and retained by the Organizers. You agree not to record or use any flash photography, or to make any live broadcasts or use live streaming applications during any Event features, unless otherwise permitted by the Organizers in writing.
  6. Unless otherwise permitted by the Organizers in writing, no Event Content including photographs, recordings, or any videos of the Event may be broadcasted, reproduced, modified, used (for commercial purposes), stored and / or re-circulated, transferred, disseminated to any third parties by You. Further, You shall not upload any Event Content onto any website, intranet, or shared system or include any Event Content in a database.
  7. You shall not use the Event Content in any way that may infringe or violate any of Organizers’ or its affiliates rights or that of any third-party or that may bring Organizers or any of Organizers’ affiliates into disrepute.
  8. Organizers are not responsible for the content of any speaker’s/delegate’s presentation and such content is the opinion of the respective speaker/delegate and shall not be construed as the opinion of the Organizers. No liability, whatsoever, can be accrued to the Organizers for any such content.
  9. YOUR INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
    1. Your participation in certain parts of the Event may allow You to submit, share, post, create content which may include messages, images, videos, sound recordings, or other materials and any intellectual property which may be developed due to Your participation in collaborative sessions, discussions, start-up pitches, hackathons, etc., (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Your Content”).
    2. In exchange for the opportunity to participate in the Event, You hereby authorize, grant, permit the Organizers a royalty free, irrevocable, non-exclusive, sub-licensable and unrestricted right and license, throughout the world and in perpetuity, to publish, reproduce, modify, adapt, transmit, distribute, transfer Your Content in all media formats (now known or hereinafter existing), solely in connection with the publicity, promotion and distribution of the Event (including future editions thereof), for educational purposes and for the Organizers’ general business.
    3. However, it is hereby clarified that the Organizers and/ or its affiliates shall not be held liable for any unauthorized copying, disclosure, use or distribution of any of Your Content by any third parties. You hereby release and waive any claims which may arise against the Organizers and its affiliates for any such unauthorized copying or usage of Your Content.
    4. The Organizers may at any time have the right to remove, edit, discard any of Your Content without notifying You or incurring any liability.
    5. You hereby represent and warrant that:
      1. You are the creator and owner of any content shared by You or have necessary rights to share such content;
      2. Your Content does not infringe, violate or misappropriate any third party rights or proprietary rights or defame any other person or entity; and
      3. Your Content does not violate the applicable laws.
    6. The Organizers reserve all rights and remedies against You for breach of the aforesaid representations and warranties.

9. Access to and use of our Sites

  1. We also own and/ or manage websites, platform, mobile applications, social media platforms specifically with respect to the Event (“Sites”).
  2. We do not guarantee continuous accessibility or uninterrupted operation of Our Sites, including the features and functionalities of such Sites, and shall not be held liable, if for any reason, any information becomes unavailable at anytime. The use of Our Sites is subject to Our cookie policy.
  3. The use of Our Sites and the electronic transmission of any document or information to/from You via Our Sites are entirely at Your own risk. We have no responsibility whatsoever for the content accessible or actions taken on the Sites including any data loss and malfunctions caused due to viruses or other harmful components.
  4. You agree to use Our Sites, including all features and functionalities associated therewith, in accordance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations, and other restrictions on use of Our Sites or any content therein.
  5. All the content on Our Sites (including but not limited to text, graphics, photographs, logos, icons, videos and sounds) is copyrighted and may not be used without Our prior written permission. Your access to or use of Our Sites should not be construed as the Organizers granting any licence or right to use the content and/or trademarks on Our Sites. Other than the limited grant of access to and viewing of the content and/or trademarks on Our Sites, You shall have no privileges and/or rights in any content and/or trademarks on Our Sites.
  6. You may not copy, display, distribute, modify, publish, reproduce, transmit and/or otherwise transfer any content obtained from Our Sites for any commercial purpose without Our prior written consent.
  7. You may not use Our Sites for any unlawful purpose or in such manner as prohibited by the Terms of Use of the relevant Site.
  8. The Organizers reserve the right to make changes to any information relating to the Event as may be contained on the Sites including the changes to these T&Cs.

10. Hyperlinks

  1. We may provide hyperlinks or redirections to third party sites which may not be owned, managed, or operated by us and accordingly, it shall not be construed that We are associated with or endorse such third party sites or its contents, products, or services.
  2. We do not have control over such third party sites and shall not be responsible or liable for:
    1. The accuracy, availability or functionality of such third party sites; and
    2. Any loss and/ or liability arising from Your access and/ or use of such third party sites.
  3. You should exercise caution and good judgement before providing or clicking on hyperlinks to third party sites.

11. Data protection and privacy

  1. We may collect, store, transfer, process, disclose (if required pursuant to any applicable law or due to any legal requirements) and / or use any content, data and information that You post, submit and/ or share (including your personal data or information) on Our Sites in accordance with and for the purpose set out in Our privacy policy, including without limitation to keep You connected with future events and updated on all the services, sending You news/updates, for matching programs, in connection with website/platform usage, marketing/promotion and outreach activities for Our products and services. You hereby agree and consent to such processing and use of Your personal information by the Organizers.
  2. You hereby grant consent to share Your data obtained during registration with sponsors, partners, exhibitors, third parties, and upon You entering into a physical exhibition booth to allow such exhibitors to engage with You for the limited purpose of post-event engagement and marketing purposes.
  3. You agree and acknowledge that the Organizers shall under no circumstances, whatsoever, be held liable for sharing any such information and/or for any unauthorized disclosure or misuse of any such information by a third-party including but not limited to Your personal information and non-identifiable information as mentioned herein.
  4. You acknowledge and agree that Your personal information such as Your name, postal address, email address, payment details may be disclosed to third parties and may be used, processed and/ or stored by such third parties only for the limited purpose of facilitating payments that You make.
  5. You must comply with Our privacy policy and all legal requirements and standards applicable to data protection and privacy, as amended, revised, and/or supplemented from time to time (“Data Protection Requirements”).
  6. You agree to fully indemnify and hold the Organizers, their affiliates, directors, employees, agents, successors or assigns harmless from any cost, expense, fines, investigation, legal proceeding, penalties and/or sanctions related to Your breach of the Data Protection Requirements.
  7. By registering for the Event, You expressly agree and consent that the Organizers may communicate with You by telephone, e-mail and post and may use Your personal or company information for the following purposes:
    1. Organizers’ internal purposes which will include accounts processing and internal analysis of delegates/speakers;
    2. Publishing Your company names on the Sites, in the official catalogue for the Event, and/or in any other directory relating to the Event or relevant industry, in each case whether in print, electronically, or in any other media;
    3. Disclosure of information to contractors who provide services in respect of the Event;
    4. To share updates about the Event or any other events, conferences, services, product announcements.
  8. Please contact us at ‘info@globalfintechfest.com’ if You wish to access, rectify or erase Your personal or company information to be used in any of the ways mentioned in this paragraph 11.

12. Use of artificial intelligence disclaimer

  1. We may use artificial intelligence for generating personalized content suggestions, speaker and session recommendations, real-time transitions, matchmaking, customer support (chatbots), understanding user experience and service recommendations and such other purposes.
  2. The use of artificial intelligence is to enhance user experience and provide insights to us to serve You better. You acknowledge and agree that (i) these tools and the outputs resulting therefrom are experimental in nature and may be inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, offensive, objectionable, inappropriate, infringing, unfit for a particular purpose; (ii) the outputs generated from these tools do not represent the Organizers views and/ or opinions; (iii) the Organizers do not endorse any content included in any of the outputs. You shall use these artificial intelligence tools and their outputs at Your own risk and shall not rely on them for legal, investment, financial, legal or other professional advice.
  3. The Organizers shall not be held liable in any manner for any errors, misinterpretations, or omissions caused due to Your use of these artificial intelligence tools including due to any outputs generated by such artificial intelligence tools.

13. Compliance with applicable laws

  1. These T&Cs shall be governed by the laws of India and You hereby agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, India in relation to any disputes arising out of, or in connection with these T&Cs.
  2. You hereby agree to comply with all the applicable laws concerning bribery, anti-corruption and related matters. You are prohibited from having any involvement in acts of bribery and corruption in relation to the Event.
  3. You shall not offer or accept any financial or other advantages as an inducement or reward for any act or forbearance in connection with engagements related to the Event or in relation to these T&Cs.
  4. Any health and safety guidelines specifically issued by the relevant authorities shall be followed by You at all times before and during the Event.

14. Anti-Harassment and Anti-Discrimination Policy

  1. We are committed to organizing events free from any form of harassment or discrimination based on gender, caste, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or age.
  2. We do not and will not tolerate any kind of harassment by any participants at the Event as We are committed to maintaining a safe, respectful and inclusive work environment, free from any kind of discrimination, harassment and abusive behaviour.
  3. You are at all times expected to conduct yourself in a professional and appropriate manner. Your failure to adhere to this rule may result in Your expulsion from the Event, without any refund. Further, appropriate action may also be taken by the Organizers, at their sole discretion, including but not limited to causing any investigation to be undertaken with respect to any breach of this rule and notifying or lodging complaints with the relevant authorities.

15. Disclaimer of warranties and exclusion of liability

  1. Our Sites may contain inaccuracies or errors. Our Sites and the Venue are provided to You on ‘as-is-where-is’ basis and ‘as-is available’ basis. You understand and acknowledge that Your access, use, downloading from, and/or otherwise obtaining content or services from our Sites is at your own discretion and risk. We make no representation that the Sites are appropriate or available outside of India. If You use the Sites from other locations, You are responsible for compliance with applicable local laws.
  2. We hereby disclaim all warranties, representations and guarantees of any kind (whether express or implied) including without limitation (i) the continuous accessibility or uninterrupted operation of the Venue and Sites; (ii) that the Sites and their contents and materials are accurate, appropriate, available, complete, reliable timely, updated for use in all jurisdictions; (iii) the contents and/or materials available for access, use or download from our Sites are free of keyloggers, viruses, worms, trojan horses, malware and other harmful or destructive content.
  3. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable laws, the Organizers aggregate liability to You, whether arising in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise for any losses, claims, damages, costs, expenses of any kind and howsoever arising, out of or in connection with Your participation in the Event shall be limited to the amount of the Event registration fee paid by You.
  4. The Organizers shall not, under any circumstances arising out of these T&Cs, be liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental or punitive loss, damage or liability or loss of profits, loss of business, loss of opportunity, loss of goodwill, loss of data and loss of reputation.
  5. In all arrangements involving third parties, the Organizers act only as agents and no liability of any kind whatsoever shall be attached to the Organizers due to any losses arising from or in connection with such an arrangement with the third party.
  6. You agree and confirm that the Organizers or any of its partners, agents, officers, employees shall not be responsible for any personal injury, death, damage, theft, losses, or cost suffered at or as a result of the Event.
  7. We reiterate that, We shall not be liable to You for any loss, damage, or other liability incurred by You due to cancellation or postponement of the Event or any change in the Venue.
  8. Views expressed by the speakers at the Event are their own and do not necessarily reflect the views of the Organisers. We are not liable for any advice given or views expressed by any speakers or in any materials provided to You.

16. Indemnification

  1. You agree to fully indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Organizers and members of the Organizers’ group, its affiliates, and their officers, directors, employees, agents from all damages, liabilities, losses, claims, charges, injuries, fines, penalties, costs and expenses (and all legal costs including reasonable attorneys’ fees, court costs, expenses and settlements resulting from any action or claim) arising out of or in connection with, whether directly or indirectly, including but not limited to:
    1. any acts of omission/commission or due to negligence of Your violation of law, byelaw, rules-regulation, notification and or for any third-party claims for any of Your actions;
    2. any damage, destruction, loss, theft caused by You to the Venue and/or any property at the Venue;
    3. infringement of any third-party intellectual property rights in the materials shared by You, as may be applicable;
    4. any breach of any of these T&Cs by You.

17. General

  1. No partnership, agency, joint venture, or employer-employee relationship is created between You and the Organizers as a result of these T&Cs.
  2. These T&Cs (together with any agreements or documents entered into separately) embody the entire agreement between You and the Organizers and supersede all previous agreements and arrangements.
  3. No warranty, statement, representation, undertaking, or provision which may have been made or given before the date hereof shall be binding on the parties unless the same shall have been expressly incorporated herein, save that this shall not affect the parties' rights in respect of any fraudulent misrepresentation.
  4. You shall not assign any of Your rights or obligations under the T&Cs to any third party without the Organizers’ prior written consent. We may assign any of our rights or obligations under the T&Cs to any third party without Your prior written consent. Except as otherwise expressly provided hereunder, all covenants and agreements hereunder by or on behalf of You or the Organizers shall bind and inure to the benefit of the respective successors and assigns of You or the Organizers whether so expressed or not.
  5. No failure on the part of the Organizers hereto to exercise, and no delay in exercising any right hereunder will operate as a waiver thereof. The rights and remedies provided hereunder are cumulative and not exclusive of any rights or remedies provided by law. Any waiver or consent given by the Organizers hereunder shall be in writing and may be given subject to such conditions as we may impose. Any waiver or consent shall be effective only in the instance and for the purpose for which it is given.
  6. On termination of the T&Cs, any agreement between You and the Organizers, and/or permission to use the Sites, all rights granted to You under the T&Cs shall cease. However, the T&Cs will continue to apply to Your prior use and anything relating to or arising from such use. Upon termination, all of Our rights, including all the intellectual property rights, proprietary rights, and licenses in the T&Cs shall survive, including restrictions on use, and all limitations on liability and disclaimers.
  7. If any provision is held invalid, illegal, or unenforceable in the court of law, then such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to give effect to the commercial intention; however, the other provisions hereunder shall remain unchanged, valid and enforceable.
  8. Unless otherwise specified, notice or any communication in connection with these T&Cs between You and the Organizers shall be in writing and sent to the contact details as notified by You.
